POLICE investigating a hit and run crash near Chadwell St Mary in January have made an appeal for information about the driver who fled the scene.

The incident happened on 25 January and was reported on Thurrock Nub News. Three people in a second vehicle were injured.

A police statement issued today (Subday, 5 March) says: "We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision which left three people seriously injured.

"A Renault Megane and Vauxhall Mokka were in collision in Muckingford Road at around 6am on Wednesday 25 January.

"A driver and passenger from the Vauxhall Mokka and a passenger from the Renault Megane sustained multiple serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

"The Renault Megane failed to stop at the scene of the collision and we're now appealing for information to help trace the car and the driver.

"If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.

"Please quote incident 128 of 25 January.
