MEMBERS of local charity Thurrock Re-Engage were treated to an afternoon of entertainment on Sunday (11 august) at Headon Hall, Stifford Clays.

Guests of the charity, which supports lonely and vulnerable older people, enjoyed an afternoon tea and were then entertained by the TIME Charity (Together in Musical Expression), with musicians and singers Marc and Rob going down a treat.

Regional Re-Engage co-ordinator Loraine Coleman said: "A very bigthank you to Jacki Hanson for gifting this fabulous afternoon of entertainment. Our guests tucked into a delicious tea hosted by our lovely volunteer group four co-ordinator Clarissa.

"We also celebrated Pats birthday and May won the lovely hamper donated by Asda Tilbury - thank you Kim Morgan.

"Thank you to all our lovely volunteers who look after our guests and make these tea parties possible, particularly Kate, Mark, Tony, and Paula.

"It was a perfect summer afternoon enjoying singing, laughter and friendship."
