SERVING and former forces personnel are being invited to a free breakfast next week.

In May Thurrock Nub News reported on the first event organised by Grays Thurrock Branch of the Royyal British Legion, hosted at the cafe in Morrisons in Grays.

The second event takes place on Monday, 15 August, between 8am and 11am.

The event is part of the ongoing commemorations of the centernary of the Legion branch. Next month it will be celebrating its landmark anniversary with a dinner dance at the Civic Hall, Blackshots.
