ORSETT'S Kings Arms pub – and a host of regulars who popped along to enjoy breakfast – were featured on ITV's Good Morning Britain this morning (Monday, 21 November) when a crew from the show turned up to mark England's opening World Cup match later today against Iran.

The pub made the news recently when England star Declan Rice visited to see a mural of himself painted on the side of the pub after being commissioned by landlord Dan Morgan - who is a season ticket holder at the West Ham player's club.

The pub has been noted for the tradition of painting seasonal murals on its outside wall and also Remembrance tributes.

Hammers fan Dan said of Declan's visit: "I had been busy in the pub and was just popping to a chip van we have in our car park and two of the regulars said Declan had turned up.

"I thought they were messing with me but I jumped over the wall to check and sure enough he was there. I went over to introduce myself and he just said he had seen the mural on social media and loved it."

In the wake of the story Good Morning Britain picked up on the pub's fashion for football and also Orsett songwriter's Richy Hughes recently launched World Cup song 'Stick another Star on the Shirt' which featured in this morning's TV visit.
