RECTORY Road in Little Thurrock was reopened to traffic this morning (Saturday, 24 December) following a two day closure following the appearance of a sink hole.

As Nub News reported yesterday engineers have filled the hole that appeared adjacent to two houses with concrete.

The road block was kept in place while the concrete set but following checks this morning it was reopened.

A pavement dug up by utility companies to cut off water, gas and electric, remains closed.
