A BOROUGH business played host to Father Christmas today, bringing a big slice of Christmas cheer to the local community in South Ockendon.

The Beigel Stop on Broxburn Parade is a new business that has already forged a strong connection with its neighbours and this afternoon owner Liam Mason invited local children and families along to meet Santa and pick up a free present.

Santa will be there until 3pm.
