LOCAL bus operator Ensign has issued a warning to parents to take responsibility for their children's actions after its vehicles were victims of an attack last night (Monday, 20 July).

A statement from the company warns that it may have to take services of the road if problems continue.

It said: "We're receiving reports that youths are throwing objects at our buses in the West Thurrock and The Rookery area.

"This is totally unacceptable, may cause serious injury & take buses that are needed off of the road.

"If your kids are out in that area, please check what they are doing!"
