VIDEO footage released by Hashtag United shows just why East Thurrock were so aggrieved with both goals scored against them by their Isthmian North rivals on Monday night's league clash at the Len Salmon stadium.

East Thurrock United went down 2-1 with both of United's goals the subject of huge controversy.

Hashtag, a club which was famously launched on the internet and is run by videographer and blogger Spencer Cartwright, who ironically cut his non-League footballing filmmaking with East Thurrock, shows Hashtag's first goal was given on the back of a contentious decision by referee Jack Williams and was in all probability an injustice, while the 'super strike' by United's Matthew Wooldridge that ultimately won the match for his side didn't actually cross the line!

Toby Aromoloran was well past the keeper before he threw himself to the floor.

Most onlookers felt that for the first goal there was minimal contact at best between Hashtag's Toby Aromoloran and Rocks keeper Montel Joseph and that Aromoloran, who was laughing bfore he hit the deck had dived.

And the second goal, awarded by assistant referee, blounced off the crossbar, down and out without ever going completely over the line.
