AVELEY will renew their rivalry with familiar foes Enfield Town on Saturday (19 October), desperate for a change of fortune.

Millers have won just once this season and go into the Vanarama National League South clash at the Dave Bryant Stadium (formerly the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium) on the back of successive defeats. They sit second from bottom with just one point - albeit a fine one at Torquay - from their travels.

Town, who followed in Aveley's footsteps to play at Step Two by winning promotion from the Isthmian Premier last season, have also struggled and are just two places above Aveley, with nine points.

Both lost last weekend, Aveley at home to Chippenham, and Town 4-1 at table-topping Farnborough.

After their midweek win against Witham Town, Tilbury make the trip to Mildenhall Town in second place.

Dockers are on a fine run of form and will be expected to beat their hosts, who sit 14th, though they will be buoyed by last weekend's 2-0 win at Walthamstow.

If leaders Bury Town slip up at Heybridge, a win for Dockers would put them top.

There are lesser expectations for Grays Athletic, who are struggling in the lower reaches of the division. The Blues, who were without a match last weekend, are at home to Ipswich Wanderers who sit two places below them, in 18th. From five attempts on the road, Wanderers have just one win to show for their efforts.

East Thurrock Community FC, who drew 3-3 at home last time out, face the prospect of a daunting trip to second-placed Brightlingsea Town in the Essex and Suffolk Border League Premier Division.
