GRAYS Athletic travel to the coast on Saturday (18 February) in desperate need of a goal to break a barren run that has seen them sail to score in their last four Isthmian North fixtures – the last outing being Wednesday's encounter with New Salamis at Parkside.

The trip to Lowestoft the face second-from-bottom Gorleston is a chance for the Blues to find the back of the net against opposition that have shipped 60 league goals already this campaign.

Travelling in the opposite direction to seventh-placed Grays are Lowestoft – who have recently rekindled the fine form thatv saw them dominate the early stages of the season with a long unbeaten run.

The Trawlerboys are now back in third spot and while they are 15 points behind second-placed Hashtag United and one more behind leaders Sudbury, they will not have given up on their title hopes.

So Saturday's hosts Tilbury will need to be at their very best as manager Scott Dash continues to reshape his side. There have been plenty of new faces and a number of departures at Chadfields in recent weeks as the manager bids to keep Tilbury out of the relegation zone and the signs are promising.

Last weekend they gave a very good account of themselves in a narrow defeat against Sudbury and were winning 2-0 in midweek when their match at Hullbridge was abandoned because of fog.

East Thurrock United also face a side from Suffolk with Bury Town due at Rookery Hill.

After a run of nine matches in all competitions the Rocks have picked up in their last two outings - winning at Witham and drawing in midweek at Brentwood - a match that proved the end for home boss Rod Stringer. And Rocks have have already won this season at Bury and that win sparked a run of five successive victories so they will be hoping history repeats itself.

In the Isthmian Premier Aveley play host to Lewes. Preview here.
