AFTER a couple of failed attempts to regenerate and build a new Purfleet-on-Thames, plans are taking another step forward.

They will be presented to the local community next week at a meeting of Purfleet-on-Thames Community Forum.

Forum vice chair Trevor Batchelor says: "Come along to hear updates on the existing plan and what are the next steps.

"It's a chance for you to be involved and have your say."
