This is a part-time position (24 hours per week) on a permanent basis with flexible working days and hours based at our head office in South Ockendon.
You will manage and support an existing Accounts Assistant and support the Managing Director in ad-hoc financial projects when needed.
Key Duties · Purchase and sales ledger management · VAT and CIS Returns · Monthly management accounts including journals accruals and pre-payments · Overhead analysis · Managing cash-flow · Fixed asset register including depreciation · Payments to suppliers and sub-contractors · Bank and petty cash reconciliations · CITB levy return · Directors loan account · Pension management · Payroll Attributes
We are looking for some with a 'Can do attitude' who is Friendly and approachable · Respectful and trustworthy · Can multitask · Excellent attention to detail
Experience/Qualifications · Experienced in day-to-day construction accounts management · Familiar with CIS Scheme and HMRC compliance · Experience in Sage and / or Xero accounting packages · AAT qualification (or equivalent)
Package · Basic salary £25,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience) · 21 days holiday (including bank holidays) · 5% Pension contribution · Performance related bonus on annual basis · Company healthcare scheme
