AN angry mother has offered a £50 pound reward for information after a cruel-hearted person stole her son's Queen Elizabeth II tribute post box topper.

Nub News reported yesterday ( Tuesday, 13 September) on the latest creation of young knitter Stanley Jackson, 11, which was placed on top of a postbox on First Avenue in Homesteads, Stanford-le-Hope.

Hundreds of local people have paid tribute to the kind-hearted youngster and remarked how nice it was to see such a thing in the local community.

However, not everyone was clearly of the same mind.

Late yesterday afternoon somebody stole the topper.

It is not the first time Stanley's toppers have been stolen, but the nature of this latest theft has left his mum, Katrina, utterly shocked and angry.

She told Nub News: "Stanley is totally devastated and can't believe it has happened again. I am so angry I can't put my feelings into words. It's just beyond belief.

"Im offering a £50 reward to anyone who could help identify whoever did this and for its safe return."

Katrina can be contacted via her Facebook page.
