THE Amazon Fulfilment Centre in Tilbury has made a £1,000 donation to Dot.com Children's Foundation to help fund the purchase of devices.

Partnered with Essex Police and technology company DataArt, Dot.com Children's Foundation aims to educate children on online safety. The foundation aims to prevent children from becoming victims to online crime or being recruited by cybercriminals.

MEMBERS of the Thames Crossing Action Group have visited various sites where exploratory work is being carried out in preparation for the Lower Thames Crossing.

Although the scheme has not even been approved and is subject to much local objection in Thurrock, Highwayd England has commissioned the work so if the scheme is approved they can begin relatively quickly.
