THE next open meeting of Bulphan Community Forum will be solely to discuss the development of the Thurrock Local Plan, which will define future development in the borough.

It will take place on Wednesday, 22 March at the Village Hall from 7.30pm to 9pm.

Kirsty Paul is the lead officer for developing the Local Plan, and will give a brief talk about it and its potential impact on Bulphan and the surrounding rural area.

There will then be an opportunity to ask questions, look at the displays and take part in interactive displays as well. 

A statement to resdeitns from the forum says: "Do try to come along and help to make sure that any development in Thurrock provides the right sort of housing, retail, leisure and industrial provision, in the right place and supported by the right infrastructure."
