TILBURY Brass Band is off to Stevenage on Sunday, 19 March for the L&SC Regional Contest of the National Brass Band Championship of Great Britain in the second section playing The Pilgrims Progress by Rodney Newton.

Priot to that they will be hosting an open rehearsal at their band hall on Dock Road, Tilbury, on Wednesday, 15 March.

This is an opportunity for the public, friends, family, other band competitors to come and hear the music that band members have been so busy working on.

As in previous years the band's conductor will talk through the piece and highlight the various sections of the band.

The event is completely free and band members will be avaialble to chat in the interval when there will be tea and cake available.
