Job Title - Multi Skilled Engineer

Location - Grays, Thurrock

Hours - Shifts (4 on, 4 off) (4 Days, 4 off, 4 Nights, 4 Off)

Salary - From £45k DOE & Private Healthcare

Talento are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a company who are experts in manufacturing economically sustainable rigid plastic packaging. They use their expertise to help their customers, and the industry as a whole, recover used plastic packaging, transform it into new feedstock, and manufacture new bottles from old-all in a sustainable, closed-loop system.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team in Thurrock.

The Role -

• Day to day maintenance of all plant equipment on site, including Injection Moulding and Stretch Blow Moulding Machines.
• Maintaining PPM schedules, work procedures and involvement in continuous improvement activities
• Reactive and pro-active maintenance
• Utilising our Enterprise Resource Software (SAP) to keep up to date machine works history, spare parts consumption and PPM planning.
• Liaising with Team Leaders and Management to effectively organise reactive/pro-active and PPM schedules to cause minimal disruption to site operations

About you -

• Electrically biased with strong Mechanical skills or;
• Mechanical biased with electrical skills (qualifications)
• Good logical thought process in regards to fault diagnosis and rectification
• Knowledge of Siemens PLC's and Inverter drives would be advantageous.
• Experience of Blow Moulding and Packaging machines would be advantageous
• Good understanding of Health & Safety
• Excellent Team skills
• Good communication, flexibility and reliability are essential for this position
