Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team based in Rainham, London. As a key part of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across various locations in the UK, ensuring a high level of service to our clients.Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for scheduled deliveries and collections
• Transport goods safely and securely, adhering to all UK traffic regulations and company policies
• Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate any delays or issues to the transport manager
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary, ensuring proper handling of freight
• Adhere to driving schedules and deadlines, managing time effectively to meet delivery requirements
• Ensure high standards of customer service at all delivery points, representing the company professionally at all times

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving license
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Minimum 1 year of experience driving Class 1 vehicles, with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management and communication skills
