Hours of work: 37.5 per week, rotational shift pattern (flexibility is required):

Week 1: Monday to Friday 7.00am-3.15pm

Week 2: Monday to Friday 10.45am-7.00pm

Salary: £27, 642 per year

The job role

As a Packing & Despatch Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Operate packing plant and bagging equipment to fill big bags
  • Load and receive bulk lorries, containers & tautliners
  • Moving goods and skips using a forklift (counterbalance/reach)
  • Managing stock, rework and restack reject pallets
  • Transporting finished goods to the correct storage areas
  • Troubleshoot and maintaining equipment to minimise downtime
  • Maintain the health, safety and environment standards on site, for yourself and
  • others around you

You will:

We re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a valid forklift licence (counterbalance and reach)
  • Have previous experience in warehouse and production (preferred)
  • Possess a manufacturing qualification (desirable)
  • Bring an Electrical or Mechanical background (advantageous)
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as required
