Stanford-le-Hope Primary School wins diversity awards

By Neil Speight 5th Mar 2020

STANFORD-le-Hope Primary School has been presented with their Silver Diversity Mark by the Mayor, Cllr Terry Piccolo and Councillor Bukky Okunade.

They presented the award to Ms Joy Leader, Assistant Teacher, who has been leading on this initiative, Mr Shaun Childs, Chair of Governors, and some children.

The award, which is validated by Leaning Workz, recognises the strong commitment to inclusion and diversity across the school and good progress in achieving equality of educational attainment, within an ethos that promotes respect for difference across the whole school setting.

Headteacher Miss Lisa Glanfield, said: "This is fantastic recognition for all the great work that goes on at Stanford-le-Hope Primary."
