FRIDAY night's show in TOPS on Stage's run of performances of Oliver was disrupted by an evacuation.

The performance on Friday (8 October) had reached the interval when the alarm was activated by someone vaping in the ladies toilets. The building was immediately evacuated and the building was checked out.

When the all clear was given everyone returned.The performance and the following two in a weeklong run of six shows was completed to great acclaim.

TOPs will be returning to the Thameside in the spring with a production of Legally Blond the Musical.
