A BOROUGH-based football club will be hosting a charity match next month to raise funds and awareness for the Brain Tumour charity.
Esperanto FC has three teams, two in Thurrock and one in the Basildon & Southend League.
On Saturday, 24 May match will take place at Brentwood FC's Stadium on Holdenhurst Road (CM17 9NN). Kick-off is 2.30pm and gates will open at 2pm.
Entry is £3 for adults, free for children.
Club spokesperson Jade Lamber-Foster said: "The Brain Tumour charity is very close to our hearts as my partner's father passed away in January from a brain tumour after an 14-month-long battle.
"The event will be an afternoon of football followed by a raffle in the bar area."
