Role Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience in Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll. The successful candidate will manage bookkeeping duties and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records using Sage Line 50.
- Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Handle the full payroll cycle using Sage Payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and pensions.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Generate and distribute payslips.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll management.
- Proficiency in Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of current payroll legislation and VAT regulations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
