Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Location: Single site in West Thurrock, Grays, RM20 postcode Hours: 40 hours per week, rota basis (including some weekend work). About the Role Our client, a prominent facilities management company, seeks a skilled Building Services Engineer with an Electrical Bias (Maintenance Electrician) to join their team at working at a site in West Thurrock. The role requires a customer-focused engineer to perform scheduled maintenance, monitor energy consumption, and uphold engineering standards to maximize system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Ensure the operational effectiveness and reliability of plant and associated systems.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and maintain site documentation.
• Respond to emergency call-outs on a rota basis to ensure continuity of operations.
• Support the maintenance team, operating access machines (training provided) and maintaining all tools in good condition.

Requirements

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and 18th Edition certification.
• Experience: Minimum of three years in a similar maintenance role, ideally with team leadership experience.
• Skills: Strong customer care skills, a team-oriented approach, and familiarity with health and safety protocols (IOSH Safety Passport preferred).
