THE Essex & Herts Air ambulance helicopter was on hand this morning to help with a medical emergency at a private house in Corringham.

The chopper landed on school playing fields, enabling medical assistance to get quickly to a private house in the Gardner Avenue area.

The outcome of the incident is unknown, with the East of England Ambulance service saying: "The helicopter landed for a call to a private residential address so we're unable to provide any information."
