Scout leaders and supporters dig in and plant trees for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee

IN recognition of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, SCH Scout Active Support Unit who are part of Thurrock District Scouts, planted more than 30 trees at the weekend at Condovers Scout Activity Centre in West Tilbury.

They included Oak, Horse Chestnut, Willow, Walnut, Silver Birch, Hazelnut, Cobnut and Monterey Cypress.

The trees have been recorded on the Queen's Green Canopy map which encourages individuals or groups to 'plant a tree for the jubilee'.
