Our weekly preview of 'What's On in Thurrock' picks out a selection of events hosted on our events guide.

The season of Remembrance will start in Thurrock this weekend, with a service in Purfleet on Sunday. Through the first weeks of the month there will be an exhibition at the Thameside complex, which has been produced by volunteers.

There will be many bonfire events coming up over the next few days. One of the first will be taking place at the Thameside Nature Park.

The park will also play host to a spectacular evening about birds of prey on Friday.
