Thurrock continue fine run with another impressive victory at Chingford - and it could have been by a wider margin.
THEATRE-goers in Grays will get the chance to see a noted political play in June when, to mark the Queen's platinum jubilee, Thurrock Courts Players will perform 'The Audience', written by Peter Morgan (creator of Netflix's smash hit 'The Crown').
The play centres around the private audiences the Queen has had with her prime ministers over the years, from Winston Churchill to David Cameron.

AFTER a brief respite from protesters yesterday (Saturday, 9 April) Essex Police were back in action this morning after more campaigners turned up in Thurrock to disrupt access to a fuel storage site.
Officers were alerted early this morning after group of more than 20 protestors arrived at the Exolum site in Grays.

ESSEX Police has delivered its latest update on protests in Thurrock by supporters of the JustStopOil campaign group and its supporters.
It was released at lunchtime, with police reporting no protester activity so far today (Saturday, 9 April).
A POST box in Grays has been topped out for Easter by an enthusiastic group of knitters who have been clicking their needles to raise funds for disadvantaged children.
The Grays-based Needles and Chat group have put a seasonal top on the box outside Little Thurrock Post Office, where visitors snd shoppers are being invited to buy handknitted chicks for £2.50 each which include a cream egg.
