Our home education sessions will help your child develop a range of practical and social skills, whilst learning about wildlife.

10am - 12pm

In relaxed outdoor settings we run a number of home education groups where children can be themselves and work together to develop social skills and to foster a deep understanding of wildlife and a love of the natural world. Activities may include den building, woodland crafts, using tools and fire lighting. 

Sessions will be every Thursday from 10 November to 15 December (6 weeks).

Dates: 10, 17, 24 Nov, 1, 8, 15 December.

Suitable for children aged 12 and over.Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please come suitably dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the whole session.

Meet on Crown Cottage Green, opposite the lower site car park. Toilets available in Crown Cottage and up at the Nature Discovery Centre.

We are able to offer a limited number of free places for families in receipt of universal credit. Please contact our education officer directly if you are eligible and would like to claim a space. 

Advance booking essential. You only need to book a place for the child attending and not the accompanying adult.
