AN open evening at a Thurrock hospitality venue has been hailed as a success.

The Old Regent Ballroom in Stanford-le-Hope is a converted, 1930s art deco cinema that now hosts a restaurant and two function rooms.

The family-run business has battled through the problems of coronavirus over the past two years and is determined to make 2022 a landmark year, hence tonight's (Thursday, 13 January) event when the doors of the venue were flung open for prospective partygoers to turn up and see what is on offer.

Thurrock Nub News also popped along to bring you a flavour of what the Old Regent offers. To find out more, visit its Facebook page.
