RE-ENGAGE Thurrock recently held its annual volunteers meeting at Headon Hall in Stifford Clays.

Regional organiser of the charity which supports lonely and vulnerable older people is Loraine Coleman who said: "It was a lovely opportunity to thank everyone for their fabulous volunteering.

"A very big thank you to all our fabulous Thurrock Re-engage Volunteers for coming along to our meeting. Words cannot express my thanks to you all for your support over the last nine years.

"Thank you all for your generosity of time, thoughtfulness, kindness of heart and spirit, compassion, friendship and true dedication. You are all so very precious.

"I am looking forward to many more fabulous years volunteering with you all. Wishing you all a wonderful summer."
