Ormiston Park Academy in Aveley has today (Friday, 20 December) announced the appointment of a new principal, Mark Roessler.

Mr Roessler, who will take up the post in September 2020 at the start of the new academic year, has more than 23 years of school leadership and teaching experience.

ESSEX police have arrested a 20-year old man on suspicion of robbery and possession of a firearm yesterday, Thursday 19 December.
