A LEADING Thurrock councillor has pledged an independent review into the way the borough's child safeguarding partnership works.

FRIENDS and colleagues of South Essex paramedic Neil Ruch have produced a musical tribute to their colleague who lost his life after contracting Covid-19.

Neil, a senior paramedic, passed away on 18 May after a brave fight with coronavirus.
