AN accident close to the entrance to the Port of Tilbury which happened late this morning ( Tuesday, 22 June) continues to cause traffic congestion, trailing back to the A1089 Dock Approach Road.
There is limited access to the adjacent area, including the ASDA superstore.

A new COVID-19 vaccination campaign has launched across Thurrock and wider South Essex encouraging uptake of the protective jab.

AN inclusive music festival is to be held in Thurrock at the Grangewaters centre later this year.
'Tagfest' is described as a one of a kind, fully inclusive music festival showcasing talent, as well as offering exposure to all that Thurrock has to offer for people with disabilities.

ONE of Thurrock's 'hidden gems' - The Purfleet Heritage & Military Centre – is back in operation after safeguarding regulations because of the Covid pandemic were relaxed.
The volunteer-run centre, which has now been established for 25 years within Magazine No.5 of what was once the Royal Magazine for Gunpowder situated on the banks of the River Thames at Centurion Way, Purfleet (RM91ZZ ).
