AVELEY FC have parted company with manager Keith Rowland, the third managerial change for Borough non-League club in recent days.
The Tilbury managerial partnership of Marc Harrison and his assistant Liam Wallace found they were no longer wanted last week and yesterday (Saturday, 7 November) brought an end to the managerial reign of Paul Martin at East Thurrock United.

EAST Thurrock United face a possibly pivotal Isthmian Premier match at Rookery Hill this afternoon (Saturday, 6 November).
The Rocks, who have suffered a succession of heavy defeats and have not won since a 4-3 victory against derby rivals Hornchurch at the beginning of October, play host to bottom club Leatherhead.
THE Aldi store in Grays which has been closed for two weeks is set to reopen tomorrow (Monday, 8 November).
Staff have been spending the last couple if days restocking the store. It was hoped to have everything in place to open today but that has not proved possible.

THE outside wall of a Thurrock pub has once again been bedecked with an original painting to mark the remembrance commemorations.
It has become something of a tradition at the Kings Arms in Orsett to carry a tribute for the Remembrance weekend and today (Saturday, 6 November) Rayleigh-based artist Brett Mann created this year's artwork - his second at the pub.

IT appears East Thurrock United manager Paul Martin and the club have parted company following Saturday's (6 November) 2-0 home Isthmian Premier defeat at the hands of bottom club Leatherhead.
It was the sixth successive league defeat for the Rocks, a run which has also included a 6-0 home drubbing in the FA Trophy.

THERE was joy in equal measure for the borough's two Isthmian North sides in action today (Saturday, 6 November) but more disappointment for supports of East Thurrock United who succumbed to another Premier Division defeat as visitors Leatherhead nicked two late goals at Rookery Hill.
Aveley have moved into the play-off zone in the North Division after beating Basildon United 3-1.

POLICE closed the QEII bridge this morning (Saturday, 6 November) as they dealt with an incident.
The closure was enforced just before 10.30am and immediately traffic began backing up on the M25 and associated roads, including the A13.

TOMORROW will see the traditional opening of the Thurrock remembrance commemorations with a service at the war memorial St Stephen's Church, Purfleet-on-Thames.
This year the event (on Sunday, 7 November) will be extra special as it will see the official unveiling of the new memorial silhouettes at the Purfleet Military and Heritage Centre.
WORKERS at Tilbury's Amazon fulfilment centre have made a £4,000 donation to to the Lennox Children's Cancer Fund in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
As part of the company-wide 'Amazon Goes Gold' project which highlights and supports the work done by many organisations to increase cancer survival rates through life-saving treatments and research, staff in Tilbury held a month-long series of gold-themed events.
